Police Scanner: Radio & Fire · Mobixoft LLC · Last updated 29 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Police Scanner: Radio & Fire mobile application (the “App”) collects, why it is collected, and who it is shared with. The App is operated by Mobixoft LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and uninstall it.

1. We do not ask for an account

The App does not require you to register, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. Where a user identifier is needed — for example to restore a purchase — it is an anonymous, randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your real-world identity.

2. Information collected automatically

DataWhy
Device model, operating system version, app version, language, region To make the App work correctly on your device and to diagnose problems.
Crash reports and error diagnostics, including a device identifier and IP address To find and fix bugs.
Usage events (screens opened, feeds played, purchases) To understand which features are used and to measure advertising performance.
Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) Attribution and marketing measurement. On iOS this is only accessed if you allow tracking when prompted.
Push notification token To deliver alerts you have opted into.
Subscription and purchase status To unlock premium features and restore purchases across your devices.

3. Location

The App can show radio feeds near you. This is optional. If you use that feature, the App asks for location permission and sends your approximate coordinates to our servers solely to look up nearby feeds. Coordinates are used for that request and are not stored against a user profile. You can refuse or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the App continues to work.

4. Audio content

Radio feeds played in the App are supplied by Broadcastify (broadcastify.com), a third-party service. When you play a feed, your device connects to Broadcastify’s servers, which may record technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policy. We do not control that processing.

Recordings you make in the App are stored locally on your device. We cannot access them. They are removed when you delete them or uninstall the App, unless you have chosen to share or export them yourself.

5. Service providers

We use the following processors. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles.

Google FirebaseAnonymous authentication, remote configuration
SentryCrash and error reporting
AppsFlyerInstall attribution and marketing analytics
Meta (Facebook) App EventsAdvertising measurement
OneSignalPush notifications
RevenueCatSubscription and purchase management
Apple App Store / Google PlayPayment processing

BroadcastifyRadio feed directory and audio streams

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties other than the processors listed above.

6. Payments

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those platforms process your payment details; we never receive your card number. We receive only the transaction status needed to unlock your subscription.

7. Retention

Crash reports and analytics events are retained for as long as they are useful for diagnostics and product decisions, and are then deleted or aggregated. Subscription records are retained for as long as required for billing, tax and audit obligations.

8. Your choices

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. Because the App has no accounts, we may ask you for information that lets us locate the relevant records, such as your device advertising identifier or a purchase receipt.

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

We and our processors operate in the United States and other countries. If you use the App from outside those countries, your information may be transferred to and processed there.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where required by law we will notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
